Celebrating Earth Hour’s 10th Anniversary

This year Earth Hour celebrates its 10th anniversary.  Earth Hour takes place on Saturday 25 March from 8:30pm to 9:30pm wherever you are on the planet.  Around the globe millions of people, businesses and landmarks will switch off and spend an hour in darkness.  Over the last decade Earth Hour has achieved massive environmental impact and raised awareness for climate change action.

WWF’s Earth Hour demonstrates how our actions today can change our tomorrow.  From its humble beginnings in 2007, Earth Hour has grown to become the world’s largest grassroots-led environmental movement for the planet, engaging more than 178 countries and territories worldwide.

You can celebrate Earth Hour any way you like.  Attend an Earth Hour event near you. Prefer to keep it simple; host a candle-lit dinner, go stargazing, or simply switch off the lights for an hour.

Say YES to Renewable Energy and sign the petition.
