GreenHome Joburg has been walking to work since December 2013. We are doing this because we wanted to prove to ourselves that change is possible and that walking can be a lifestyle not a burden. In total we walk between 20 – 26Kms a day as some live further away than others.
We decided to start in December which was shorter working month to ease our selves into it.But January has been great too.
We’re really enjoying taking the time to get some exercise, chat and catchup along the way and seeing things that you’d normally miss in the car. Of course a major bonus is the fitness and weight loss that comes with it.
As Mahatma Gandhi said “Be the change you want to see!”
