JunkRaft

Two men are serious about junk. So serious that they have built a raft made out of junk and are rafting from California to Hawaii to raise awareness about the problem of plastic pollution in the Pacific Ocean. The Junk Raft (yes, that’s what it’s called) is a 30 feet x 20 feet, 1.5-ton raft made up of six pontoons filled with over 15,000 plastic bottles wrapped in used fishing nets and all the electronic devices are powered by solar panels. Well, you know what they say…shit floats.
