Our Response to the Lockdown

On Monday night, Cyril Ramaphosa told South Africa that we are heading into a 21 day lockdown, starting at midnight on Thursday 26 March.

He said that “immediate, swift and extraordinary action is required if we are to prevent a human catastrophe of enormous proportions in our country.”

This is, of course, an unprecedented response to an unprecedented pandemic. A strong and decisive move which GREEN HOME fully supports.

If we can sit this out, separate – but together – we can avert the worst.

At GREEN HOME, we are preparing to go into lockdown with everyone else. 

We are also encouraging all clients who need stock to order as soon as possible. We will be operating according to the below deadlines for last orders and deliveries. 

From Friday 27 March until Thursday 16 April we will be in lockdown as per our president’s instructions. Our warehouses will be shut and deliveries will be on hold.

Our online shop will remain open. But do be aware that deliveries of orders placed during the lockdown will only take place at the end of the lockdown period, currently set for 17 April. We will endeavour to fulfill these orders as quickly as possible upon our return but cannot commit to specific delivery lead times.
