June is National Environment Month in South Africa. We celebrate World Environment Day (5th), World Oceans Day (8th), World Day to Combat Desertification (17th) with the Rio+20 sustainability summit taking place from 20 – 22 June.

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) recently released its bi-annual ‘Living Planet’ Report which takes a look at the state of the planet and this years report makes it abundantly clear that we all need to start taking serious action to protect the planet.  The timing for all of us to start taking action on behalf of our planet couldn’t be better.
