Biodegradable till I die!

People around the world are taking their commitment to the biodegradable revolution to a whole new level and are being buried in biodegradable coffins. Its all the rage in the States and the UK where eco-consumerism is becoming a force to be reckoned with. The seedpod-shaped coffin, known as the Ecopod, is made of recycled paper which biodegrades, along with the body, and replenishes the earth. Just because its made out of paper, doesn’t mean it has to be boring. Apparently, you can customize your Ecopod with silk-screened prints and designs. Other green coffins options complete with an alternative funeral service – include Bamboo coffins harvested from sustainable plantations, pineapple leaf coffins and sea grass coffins. You have to love die-hard environmentalists….
