All Green Home’s wooden utensils are made from birch wood, an FSC certified wood (which means it is sustainably harvested). Unfortunately, due to increased global demand, the supply has not been able to keep up, which has resulted in a worldwide shortage of birch wood, as well as a sudden price increase.

What this means is that there is going to be a sudden sharp price increase of all Green Home’s wooden utensils in the next few day. We of course will continue in our quest to source the most environmentally sustainable and affordable products on the market.
