GREEN HOME’s 67 Minutes for Mandela Day 2016

18 July is Mandela day. Everyone is invited to donate 67 minutes of their time to give back to the community.  The 67 minutes represent the 67 years that Nelson Mandela sacrificed to improve the lives of others.  The GREEN HOME team spent Madiba Day preparing and delivering sandwiches to the Yiza Ekhaya Soup Kitchen, in Khayelitsha, which feeds approximately 250 children and adults on medication in the community.  We had to be quick to get pictures of this lot – the sandwiches disappeared fast!
