GREEN HOME Sponsors Welcome Meal for Walking the Daisies Walkers

GREEN HOME helped Reliance Compost welcome the Walking the Daisies walkers and riders with beers and hotdogs served in our wooden boats – a perfect environmentally-friendly, disposable and compostable way to serve a hotdog.

Walking the Daisies is an initiative that has been running for a number of years; a group of people can apply to walk to the Rocking the Daisies Festival, plant trees along the way and have their ticket sponsored. The walk takes place over two days. They walk along the coast to Silverstroom and then inland to the venue at Cloof Wine Estate.

In keeping with the environmentally-friendly vibe of Rocking the Daisies, Reliance Compost served meat-free hotdogs in wooden boats and beer to the walkers and riders.
