Responsible Sourcing
Responsible Sourcing
Our Commitment to Ethical Supply Chains
We ensure the renewable plant materials in our packaging are sourced sustainably and ethically – a core part of our commitment to providing the most sustainable packaging solutions available.
By choosing ethical supply chains, we help protect ecosystems, uphold human rights, and align with recognised international sustainability standards.
Sustainably Managed Forests
Our paper and wood products – like our Kraft Containers, Brown Paper Bags, Wooden Cutlery and Wooden Boats – are all made from responsibly sourced, certified paper and wood from sustainably managed forests.
No Added PFAS
Since 2023, our team has been working towards a big sustainability goal.
We’ve been making sure all our food packaging is PFAS free.
Removing PFAS from supply chains is a very important step toward a safer, greener future. Want to know more? Read all about it on our blog.
Certified Compostable Bioplastics
All our bioplastic products – such as our CPLA Coffee Cup Lids and Cutlery, and our PLA Cold Cups and straws – are certified compostable under the internationally recognised and highly respected European standard for industrial compostability, EN 13432.
This certification means our bioplastic products:
- Are truly biodegradable and compostable and will break down into carbon dioxide, water and biomass through microbial digestion
- Will biodegrade within 6 months or less in industrial composting conditions
- Leave no toxic residues, resulting in soil that supports healthy plant growth
100% Renewable & Compostable
Last, but definitely not least, all our products are made from renewable plant materials that are fully biodegradable and compostable. That means they can align with Earth’s cycles of growth and decay and not become waste.
You can rest assured, knowing that growing plants is better for the environment than the oil extraction and refineries needed to make fossil fuel-based plastics.
And, all our plant-based products can be composted into soil after use.
